Natural Disasters such as hurricanes, earthquakes and tornadoes often end in loss of power, destruction, and chaos.
Children find normalcy in routine activities, such as attending school and extra-curricular activities, however this is disrupted during natural disasters.
Parents and citizens alike are also affected by these disasters, leaving them wondering where to donate or receive supplies.
PEEP will play an important role in providing quality education to children, along with providing shelter, food, and emergency resources to the families in need, as a part of emergency response.
The PEEP Application is divided into two parts; both designed for Tablet/iPad, as it is a commonly used device in households with children:
Part 1: Emergency Resource App - Donations, Volunteering and general information
Part 2: Learning App - Continue education during disaster and prepare children for natural disasters
We complied a Competitive Analysis, Interviewed Users of similar products to find out what was lacking, created a Journey Map and developed a Content Strategy.
